McLean ISD Earns Recognized Rating for Community Engagement

McLean ISD has earned a Recognized rating on the 2014-15 Community Engagement Assessment.  The rating tool is created by individual districts using specific guidelines that were mandated in 2013 by the Texas Legislature.  The assessment must evaluate the school's engagement in 9 categories:  fine arts, wellness and physical education, community and parental involvement, 21st century workforce development, 2nd language acquisition, digital learning environment, dropout prevention strategies, educational programs for GT students, and compliance with statutory reports and policy requirements.  A copy of the assessment and rating can be accessed by clicking here.
